With fierce competition from Australia’s highest calibre auctioneers, Demo Realty Bay Central auctioneers Andrew Close and Rafael Mountford made it through the trials to the main event. Rafael, in his first ever Golden Gavel finished runner up in the regional category while Andrew came third in the overall event. It was a wonderful time had by the industry and witnessed by 1,000’s of public passersby. Andrew, for his efforts will now compete in the Australasian event in Auckland in March. We wish him well.
